edgerton ks. | Start up info? Huh, what's that? Just odered a complete high tunnel kit from Farmtek and dove in! Payback on one is usually first year. Nothing to difficult, maybe just beginners luck. Seriously though University of Missouri has a lot of info on them. Dr. Lewis Jett has done considerable work with them in Mo. although he has scince left for a job back east. Mo. Extension should be able to provide plenty of printed info on them. Currently USDA has a Grant for them. Will pay up to $4,000.00 of your cost to erect one. Contact your NRCS office. If you find yourself in the KC area this summer give me a shout and I will give you a tour of our tunnels and orchard. We live in extreme southwest Johnson county. Frank | |
