Went out about 5:30 PM yesterday and measured the soil temperature in the corn row. The area where the tall corn is read 72 degrees oposed to 71 for the shorter corn. The temp was 68 inbetween the rows under the wheat residue.This might have been not a good test because the sky`s were overcast. If the sun comes out i try it again.
