| We're nearing the end of corn planting (although a couple of weeks late for our area) and thought I'd relay something that I thought was pretty impressive. Started out planting and put 42 bags through a 6 row planter(7 bags per row) with e-sets(2nd year) and at the end of approx 183 acres (here we use 18,500 as our pop goal) I was doing the end rows and decided to let the planter run out as we were moving and switching varieties of corn. 4 rows out of the 6 ran out of seed with-in 200 ft. I guess I thought that was pretty good. Of course it doesn't take much to entertain me much these days. | |
