| What would cause the seal to fail? The metal part appears to still be intact and seated. It looks like it blew the rubber sealing part out. This is the output shaft that seals against the ujoint yoke on a 7F. This was all installed new last fall, new yoke and seal. Ran about an hour off & on with no problems/ leaks but today worked it a little harder and this thing blows. Lots of oil all over! That drive shaft really slings it around1 | |
