Subject: N500C w/ Ag Leader

Bunker Hill, IL
I am considering trading an ISOBUS Case air seeder for a Deere N500C, which I'm told requires a Deere Gen 4 or 5 display to control it.

My tractors I want to use are a 385 Steiger with Ag Leader 1200 for steering, isobus, and/or implement cable. Also a 7210R Deere with a 4600 display and a 1200 Ag Leader doing the steering, mapping, etc. and have a GPS7500 for GPS input.

What am I going to have to change and spend to make this drill work with my existing tractors, and still use the Ag Leader for most everything? My planter and everything else is set up as purely Ag Leader stuff.

Should I go for a Horsch drill which is ISOBUS again? Those are my two consideration. I'm going to demo the Deere tomorrow and possibly rent a neighbor's Horsch to try it.
