I will second what he us saying about oiling. We found out the hard way last year. Ended up taking them all apart on a rain day and cleaning them out as we were having random ones act up randomly. Eventually it would get better. I eventually narrowed it down to right after we oiled the chains again the problems came back. Once we cleaned them never had a problem the rest of the year.
