East Central Arkansas | Bought a old 4840 in the Winter of 95. Had more than doubled the acres I was farming and needed another bigger tractor. Turns out the tractor had some major problems. Now here I am needing to be in the field working ground and not working on a tractor. Sent to the local JD dealer that was in our nearest town. Notice I said was. They ended up making some major mess ups that cost me big. One of the the many things that happened was they failed to get air intake hose back on. After two maybe three years I finally got that tractor straightened out and has been a good tractor I have put a lot of hours on. I spent a bunch of money on that thing but ended up with a good tractor. Since I have retired it's the tractor I run our heavy 3 point Bush Hog on. | |
