Also depends on the spouting set up, how much energy does the grain have when it hits the tube. What is the dead head situation. Grain moisture and temperature? Flow improves when polished up, do you have a way to reduce flow until it runs better? Elbows and turns come into play. If it does do not go like you hope, who eats it? Figures already shared are pretty much industry standards, but there are a lot of tubes flatter that work OK.
