Subject: RE: Looking into an automatic semi

NW Iowa
Decided to go to Semi from wagons.
Bought a 2020 Mack anthem 64T
12speed mdrive
369K miles
3.25 rears
180 wb
Glad all this stuff was done before i bought it.
After buying it sight unseen. I'm not sure i'd do it again.
I got lucky as i believe it's hard to tell when this stuff is going to go out.
All the service from Mack dealer as a lease truck
In the last 1k-20k miles
complete service
starter
all new virgin tires.
brakes
kingpins and front steering replaced
EGR valve and cooler
SCR
Complete new DEF system
brake canisters
injectors
pan gasket
air valves

Knowing what i know now, I think i would look at a Pinnacle
for the longer wheel base and higher ground clearance.
Anthem does turn and ride nice.
Anybody can move it around which is nice.
