Have had a couple of Allisons, no troble but lacked the number of speeds to my satisfaction. Never had an Ultra Shift.
Have standardized on 13 speeds, have one Fuller 10 speed.
All high hp 855s and 3406s. Refuse to use DEF. Keep a spare transmission and engine on hand. Maintain what you have. New stuff gets problems and a payment book.
