NE | Thinking of buying our first automatic semi. Normally run 379 and ih 9200i so use to the shifting. I haul about 95-100k so wondering do these automatics hold up with that kind of weight. First truck is a 2018 t880 mx13 455hp 3:25 rear end with 10 speed Eaton ultra shift. Little over 400k for miles pretty clean. Only drawback I dont like is the exhaust is under the truck so not sure if that would be an issue with cornstalks. Need to look at truck yet. I do like the peterbilt 579s and am considering those. Truck will probably see 25k miles a year.
