according to the  operator's manual, plus the decal on the master cylinder 
"use Massey ferguson  M-1123 spec brake fluid" 
    SAE J1703,  SAE 70R3  

well,  after googling  all 3,   I get  M-1123 being a  mineral based  fluid on just a  couple of  results.  


SAE J1703  is  DOT3
SAE 70R3  is an obsolete version of  DOT3 (both glycol based) 
By now,  you'd be correct that i'm  concerned  which is correct..  


perhaps  the  mf 'spec'  1123  is  not an actual part number,  but a  specification that google  mis applied in it's search.

I'm  more inclined to believe the SAE J1703,  SAE 70R3.
