As a person who lives/ farms/ hauls in a very hilly area I would recommend whatever rig you have to have four wheel disc brakes minimum. Electric trailer brakes should be okay for what your hauling, I prefer manual in my trucks I feel I have better control over stopping/ slowing down in the hills here
