NE IL | Is it common for the first section of the horizontal unloading auger to break on a 9770? It breaks right upstream of the splines that connect it to the 90 degree gearbox in the turret. The splines are fine and not damaged. It’s the long auger with 3 sections of auger in the tube. We had it break in 2018 and 2020 so we bought a spare auger section in 2021 and haven’t needed it until today. Just wondering if this is common for these augers. It not terribly hard to change but the dealer has to come with the crane on the service truck so we can get the 3 sections of auger pulled out the end of the tube. | |
