Subject: Re: Hay Baler Yeild Monitor

Pasco WA.
I can always go back and adjust the weight after the hay is hauled. What I really want to know though is the variability within a pivot. Even if the weight is off I should still be able to compare different parts of the field.

This year I applied compost o 1/2 of a pivot. It's really hard to visually see a difference. However the baler recorded less flakes per bale on that half. Used to be just the opposite. I don't have any way to estimate the difference though. It sure would be nice to have some maps. Over time I think it would pay.

Running two balers could I get by with only using one monitor?
