Alpena MI | I've learned much over the years from NAT, and here is a contribution from myself. I've tried for several years to get LiDar into Trimble WM SubSurface and I was successful this winter after much trial and error. The issue for me has mostly been downloading the data in a usable format, with the correct coordinate system and so on. I've been using Equator studios since it was very new, and they have been great to access data that I need in formats I can use for a reasonable price (albeit the reasonable price is about to change due to them taking my grandfathered account and forcing me to a new subscription). I created a screenshot video of the step by step process to download data and clean it up for you to learn for yourselves. I don't know if I necessarily want to make a business of design work, but if you have Trimble and would just like to have a Trimble ready dataset emailed to you for a piece of ground, I can probably help you out.
Thanks goes to Jim from Liebrecht Tile Equipment ("Dogface" is his username on NAT I think) for his input in my learning process. (Some of the process comes from his instructions.)
