Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn. | That's another possibility I hadn't thought of. I used to be on the local Fire Department so I could try my flow meter with some of their fittings to see if they seem to mate better.
There is a flat surface where the threads end on the flow meter. This would provide a place for a gasket of some type if the fitting was not tapered, it could be threaded in until the fitting contacted the gasket.
