Subject: A permanent fix?

Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn.
Thanks, that's another idea. These are only used with transfer pumps which don't develop high pressures so the demands might not be as great as for other situations.

My present plan is to disassemble the leaky model and inspect the threads on the plastic fitting. I may try silicone or JB Weld. I'm not too concerned about removal as long as it solves the leak issue.

Maybe the threads in my plastic fitting have become distorted and will mate better on another attempt. Someone indicated that they used Rector Seal on the threads, then two wraps of Teflon tape and then an outer coat of Rector seal. I've been using the "black" Rector Seal, the "blue" Rector Seal is another option that is more permanent.
