An accurate sample. We have been in a braodcast build program for 10+ years. Our tests haven't change much. Take 8" samples. We think the fertilizer is becoming layered in the top two inches.
Hence, stripping the fertilizer 5-6" deep. Want to get good samples. If we probe all in the strip, I think it would skew the test, as well as all taken all taken in between.
