They must have really changed something, or 6000s and even our 8000 12row you could hear the change in whine with pto speed and i made a few accidents taking of without full RPM and had poor stands sometimes i would get low pop warnings. Always had to run 1000pto rpm.

At the end of the day though, as long as the pressure is what you want that's all that matters

We run at 1600 engine RPM not but that's on a an eco pto so its still spinning 1000rpm, course its running blowers and hydraulic drives so it takes a little more.
