On our White 9524 pto pump, we usually plant at about 1750-1800 engine rpms. On this planter anyway, it doesn’t seem to matter if you’re idling or running 1,800 the planters meter fans run at a steady speed. I’ve always thought that’s pretty good how that valve on the planter can regulate that fan speed so steadily with the pto pump’s output varying so much.
