central Indiana | I am sure you know the dangers of renting and getting left in then lurch. Latest incident here. Farm this ground for 53 years. Have actively trying to buy it for 40 years. Landlord says when or if they will call here first. They have not paid for 1 cent of up keep for any reason for 53 years. I have cleaned ditches, repaired tile, put in some new tile, mowed road sides with my lawn mower etc etc. They have paid property tax only. I even pay the county ditch fees. They have now sold the farm to a complete stranger and my efforts are long gone and wasted. Warning warning warning if you do not already know what can happen to renters | |
