If it’s a good landlord with a long term relationship you don’t see changing I would approach and ask if they’d be open to working something out that you could tile it and cover the cost yourself. Explain it’s good for both of you long term you just need to cover yourself on the expenses. Either long term rental agreement or agreement that if you aren’t farming the ground for X number of years the remaining percentage of that term would be reimbursed on the tile expenses. The amount should be part of the original agreeement either as an exact number or a range of what it will cost to be specified after the project is complete
