Missouri

"Kivs" is a somewhat common slang that's been around a long time. I have no idea where it came from, but I have a family member in Western Oklahoma who uses it and claims many in his area do. Every time I've heard it used the conversations that surrounded it made it feel like an iq indicator.

"Dumb cowboy" is kind of a trend now though so who knows on the rest. Somewhere along the line the kids have turned the traditional quiet and direct short spoken language into intentionally just being dumb with words and making crap up. It's probably a symptom of the Brisby skit blowing up during their youth era.
