The only battery supplier I can find that advertises 'only virgin lead' is Odyssey.
Odyssey prices their group 31s at $450-544, so they really would need to last 4.5 to 5.4x as long to compete with a $100 unit. Do you get 20 years out of a virgin lead battery?
