Sheldon, Ia | I'm getting bids on a 48' door for a shop. I've never seen a bi-fold in person but kind of like the concept of it going up and out vs out and up. The reason would be for snow drifts in front of the door. I do like the inside finished appearance of a hydraulic door better. Has anyone installed a bi-fold and wished later on that they went with hydraulic or vice versa? The bi-fold costs a little less. Both styles are Schweiss doors. According to them the opening speed is a little quicker with the hydraulic. Another hydraulic door I'm looking into is higher power. Their door goes up about 4 to 6 inches first then out. I like that concept as well. | |
