Honestly, I am all for the subsidy going away and I'm by no means debating that. My question is more of a planning question unrelated to how anyone feels about crop insurance. No different than agreeing to pay $200/ac rent in the spring to a landlord and then having them want $400/ac in the fall or they wouldn't let you harvest your crop.
