Not sure about the 2300 but I know the Vermeer 2800 you are able to lift up and down and open and close hydraulically. Pretty sure the r23 is manual fold if I remember right


I think the 2800 is the ticket but they want a pretty penny.

Have a sitrex 12 wheel and it does a good job. Have thought about updating to a newer rake but they do the same job as the current one.


I know for me personally the ability to raise and lower on the ends and the adjustment to make it wider or narrower on the go is something I wouldn’t give up. I like running the rake narrow instead of wide open and then when doing the corners you can open it up and grab as you go.
