SW Ohio | I did the opposite of what you're wanting to do. I had a JD 700 and I liked the job it did, but it was such a bear to fold/unfold and I have a lot of small hay fields spread apart. I finally had enough and bought a 10 wheel Sitrex wheel rake and couldn't be happier. Sold the 700 and made a little money. I don't do any wet hay so I didn't really need the powered rake. Lots of moving parts in a double basket rake, but they do have their place | |
