Strathcona, mn | Yes, get the hydraulic bead breaker. 1 tire job will pay for itself. I’ve had a cheap eBay one for 15 years and it has saved me many $1000’s of dollars in tire repairs.

I remember a tire that we were fighting getting the bead broke. We had it on the floor and a loader bucket cutting edge against the bead and a 140hp fwd tractor bouncing on it. I got fed up that morning and took the crew to the local cafe for breakfast. Our interim pastor at the time walked in and sat with us. He asked how our day was going, we must have beeen obviously frustrated, lol. We told him our plight and he said a little prayer for our tire project. After breakfast we returned to work, I grabbed a maul and whacked the tire and it just dropped off the bead, I wouldn’t have believed it if I hadn’t done it with my own hands. We all sat there and laughed but goes to show the lord works in very mysterious ways!
