Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn. | With many Deere tractors, I would plug the single hose into the right coupler. Nothing will be plugged into the left coupler
To extend the cylinder, move the lever or button forward of neutral to the "retract" position. which will then force oil out the right coupler into the cylinder to extend it. To lower the implement, push the lever or button forward into float. This will allow the oil in the cylinder to return to the tractor. The lever or button can be left in the forward or float position until you wish to raise the implement.
The implement would probably lower by moving the lever or button into the rearward or extend position but then the tractor will attempt to push oil out the unused left coupler. This probably wouldn't actually hurt anything but using float to lower the implement is the best approach.
Notice my first statement says with "many" Deere tractors. There are exceptions. Certain Deere tractors and other brands arrange the pairs of couplers one above the other rather than beside each other. |
