Pretty sure deere recommends one way cylinders on aSCV 2 for 4x30-4960

We had a 4230 for a while. When it was used on a 7000 planter with single action lift, we needed to remove a cap below the transmission and unthread an internal bolt. This changed at least one SCV to single action. I don't remember ever having to do something like that on another tractor.

When we bought one of the first 800 series IH planters we couldn't get it to drop the single acting markers on a 4230's SCV1. We had to use SCV2 and adjust the priority valve in order to lower the internal backpressure enough to get the markers to drop. Float position wasn't enough as we were already used to that on the earlier cyclo planters we had before.
