Is it not penetrating or is it just closing behind the marker making it difficult to see? A more aggressive angle will help with the latter......I used to switch my markers side for side between tilled and notill. I would use the marker disk working backwards in tilled ground to not plow and pushing out at an aggressive angle in notill on my 7000 6 row.
