I have a westfield wrx 10-51 electric to fill my wet bin and for loading trucks after season. very dissapointed in this auger quality and capacity. Looking to make a change and possible increase capacity. Capacity of the wrx is 4800 bph, although even in dry corn filling trucks I'm only getting 3800 bph. Only single phase power available but have tractors available. Any help and thoughts would be appreciated on brand. Pretty much every brand has a local dealer available here..
15 hp single phase on a 10 x 51 auger for wet corn.....seems underpowered by quite a bit. Ever put an amprobe on that to see how much power it is pulling? Might be enough power for dry corn but not anything extra.
We use a small diesel tractor to power our 10" x 36' auger load out auger. Hope it will be enough power to run a 12" x 39' that we plan to start using.
