Heck, I’m not even talking about the land.
The deferred tax liability in depreciated machinery, buildings, livestock, etc, prepaid expenses and unsold inventory is HUGE.
Step up in basis applies to all that stuff too, at least for now.
My uncle always recommends dying with the bins full and supplies bought, if possible.
