Subject: RE: JD 9650 Cornerpost Display

SW Nebraska Panhandle

Thanks.  Yes there are a lot of posts about cornerpost problems on NAT and a couple of facebook groups I follow.  But I could not find nothing just like the problem I am having.  Going to try disconnecting the battery today and checking connections and wiring.  First job after winter and could have had a mouse attack as well.  We have plenty of them around.  Will also call JD and Ag Express.  I hate throwing parts - especially expensive ones - at these kinds of problems only to find out there was a bad wire or ground.  I just now figured out that there are 3 different boards on the cornerpost for each section.  So at least I only have to deal with the bottom one.  I can live without the other displays but all the important stuff is in the one display.  You mention your problem was a sensor.  There are a bunch of sensors that feed the bottom display and no clue as to which one could cause the problem.
