Did the state board have that power?...
That's the big question in my mind. The defendants made it seem like the state board did not have the power to issue an arrest warrant and "made one up", that certainly seems logical to me, especially since the power should be rather clear. The other thing was not seeing a judge immediately and getting a date to come back and argue whether the board had authority to levy fines or not. That's where the contempt of court should come in, not from some office worker at the govt good ole boys club. |
