| Widow I bought farm equipment from ,long after her husband had passed away, said that the last remaining farm was purchased partly with her selling lots of chickens and eggs to country stores. Their first farm was rented.
On another note, the surrounding properties had some huge oak trees still left on them. These were impressive in size. Lady said that last farm was nothing but huge oak trees covering the place when they first took possession. Paid a guy with a large CAT to bulldoze every single tree. | |
