Buy the hay you need. Rents to high and after adding the baling cost and fertilizer you have high priced hay. Is good hay available where you are at an affordable price? Trucking cost must be figured when buying hay. But here with the weather you always run the risk of rain ruining your hay after all the inputs. You have to feed that but you don’t have to buy hay that is low quality. Just my opinion.
