Oakes, ND | JCB recommends 500 hours between oil and filter changes on the 8250. At 750 hours on CaseIH oil the oil analysis still shows good. I believe part of this to be the oil filter the newer Cummins QSC uses compared to the older 8.3 CDC in Dad's 8950. The QSC uses a filter that has built in bypass filtration. The oil analysis on the Magnum shows a higher rate of degradation on the Magnum with a standard filter.
