Another one that looks interesting to me is manager.io

It's free for desktop use (open source and works on Windows, Apple and Linux). Cloud version is $59/month. I don't think they have payroll.

While I'm at it one could look at GnuCash which would work for more basic stuff. Has a long history and would likely be very reliable. Likely would lack some advanced features although I haven't studied enough to know which ones. I think of it as something like a competitor to the old Quicken or Microsoft Monday. Also free and open source, also available on Windows, Apple and Linux.
