'Here' the local Co-Op that is offering free DP sells the corn to a couple feedlots that would otherwise run out, and own it on the board until you decide to price it. You are only allowed to price during CBOT trading hours.
No risk to them, and they come out pretty good on the basis, as very few farmers are selling now, so they can charge the feedlots a premium.
