My neighbors built this in the 80’s, we had a bunch of wet falls and it was before SP choppers were very common. 2 Hesston I think choppers. Pulled a side dump Richardton wagon behind, they blew into that. They said hardest part was figuring out the shaft off the front of the engine and getting everything turning right in the drop box. It worked great, they ended up doing a lot of custom work for others with it
They were 3 brothers who came from CT, bought a farm up here in the late 70’s early 80’s when they were in their early 20’s. One of them bought a old dozer and started pushing out hedgerows, ended up turning it into a successful excavation/tile/dirt work business. The other 2 slowly grew the farm, the next generation is milking 1500 now. One of the brothers passed, they put the choppers back on for his celebration of life. Good guys, good neighbors, always tinkering with stuff, trying to make it better
