central kansas reno county
6 to 8 inches tall here. Some starting to head and others throwing the flag leaf. Had an inch of rain a week ago so that kept it alive for at least another week. Calling for more rain Monday night through Wednesday. Was supposed to be a good soaker now we are in the .25 to .75. So I would guess by the time it's over with we won't get enough to get the grass greening up anymore.
I probably scared the rain away by planting some alfalfa yesterday.
