You don't have to suffer the cold to fly your drone. You can sit in your heated vehicle & fly just fine. Works for me.

The only downside I've had w/winter flying is on some days when there is moisture in the air, you can get frost on your props. Works the same in full-size planes also. If it's absolutely crystal clear day...no problem. But, if there's haze or fog, it'll build ice.
