I agree with your thoughts on the spray drones; in 5 years things will have gotten more useful and easier to use.
For a useful drone today your choice is really between a regular camera drone or one with multispectral camera.
I have a DJI Air 2S. It is a really nice little drone with a really good camera, but no multispectral. You can get one of these now with everything you need and extra batteries, memory, etc for prolly less than $1400.
Now something like the new DJI Mavic 3 Multispectral, which is mentioned a few posts down, looks really nice but you're looking at $3500 or so. But it can do a lot more when it comes to crop scouting, etc.
Really depends on your budget and goals. | |
