| I’m curious what, if any, home testing equipment might be worthwhile just to keep an eye on a persons own health. I have never had any major health issues and I had relied on a doctor to flag any potential issue. In the last year or so I realize I might have been heading towards a future of diabetes without ever suspecting it and I believe I would have only found out after the fact had it not been for this site. It is quite amazing how much I have changed my diet and how much healthier I feel so thanks to all.
That brings me to the question of is it worth it for a, hopefully, relatively healthy person to buy home testing equipment? Is a yearly doctor checkup good enough or is it beneficial to have more frequent monitoring?
If you use testing equipment how have you used the data to become healthier? Any recommendations on types or brands?
