N MO | Who has used these in heavy moist soils in the eastern cornbelt? I know Matt Hagney tried them and noted faster wear and more needed down force. However, the youtube videos have made me think.
Right now one planter has Dawn Curvetines and the other one has Furrow Cruisiers. We are able to close the trench and achieve good seed to soil contact but always looking to push yields. If it is so wet that we are leaving side wall smeared/open trenches, we will end up filling every nook and cranny with mud so try not to push conditions.
