I have used the SI sabre tooth openers on my corn planter last year. I have silt loam soils and really liked them. Also, I took off the no till coulter and just kept the heavy duty down pressure springs at the same setting as previous. Also, run polytwist closing wheels and get a good trench closing. Worked good in planting thru green wheat the first week of may.
