Watford City, ND | I have two cousins in TX, both raised in McKinney (did I spell that right?) after my Uncle and Aunt moved away from ND long before I was born. Anyways, we only see each other maybe once every couple years.
I called them both to see how things were going. Luckily they haven’t had issues but their kids are off at college and have been having some rolling blackouts.
Anyways, in the talking we were doing, they kept mentioning how unseasonably cold it has been. So I reminded them what hardy North Dakotans so when it gets cold up here...
We go down to AZ and wait it out for a few months.
We both got a kick out of that and now it looks like we will see each other for Easter - my mom is in Queen Creek AZ and my Aunt and Uncle are in Tucson. So it looks like the cousins are planning a trip west for Easter!!
